Hennes Bender (* 1968) is a German comedian, speaker, actor and cartoonist. After studying theater, film and television studies in Bochum and simultaneously working on various cabaret stages and at the Bochum Schauspielhaus, he worked as a presenter and author for Hessischer Rundfunk. Bender then appeared as a comedian in several TV formats. He regularly tours with his stand-up comedy solo programs. Hennes Bender is involved in various podcasts (also as a producer) and also works as a radio play and audio book narrator. Bender has been awarded the German Comedy Prize, the Kurt Magnus Prize from ARD and the “Tegtmeiers Erben” prize from the city of Herne for his artistic work.
