Klaus Lage (* 1950) is a German musician. After working as a social worker and educator in Berlin, he devoted himself to his career as a singer and guitarist. He gained nationwide recognition in Germany as a rock performer above all with the song Tausend und 1 Nacht (1984), and has since released more than twenty albums. Since 1991, Lage has been touring with various line-ups, while also performing on stage as a solo artist. The musician is also socially engaged; in 1986, during a performance in the GDR, he included a song by the banned and expatriated East German singer-songwriter Wolf Biermann in his programme, which led to a change in the television schedule in the German Democratic Republic. Klaus Lage is also a volunteer ambassador for the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service.
