Schinderhannes

Schinderhannes, whose real name was Johannes Bückler (1779–1803), was a German robber who was convicted of at least 211 crimes, mostly thefts, extortions, and robberies, including robbery with murder and murder. Carl Zuckmayer wrote a play about his life, which premiered on October 13, 1927, at the Berlin Lessing Theater.
