Olli Dittrich (*1956) is a German actor, comedian, composer, and musician. Dittrich originally trained as a set designer and achieved wide recognition through ensemble work on the comedy show “RTL Samstag Nacht”, modeled on the Saturday Night Live. His films, TV formats, parodies, and music productions have won numerous awards, including the Bavarian Television Award, the German Television Award, the Golden Camera, the Echo and Comet music awards, the international LEA Award, four Grimme Prizes, and twelve gold and platinum albums. Dittrich has appeared on over 300 episodes in the role of the bar philosopher and etymologist Dittsche, and also tours the character on major stages across Germany in a three-hour one-man show.
