Birgit Welink (* 1989) is a German-Dutch actress. After training at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht and further training in Venice, Paris and Berlin, she has performed on various international stages and theater festivals, including Kampnagel in Hamburg, Theater Rotterdam and Abattoir Fermé in Mechelen. Welink is known to a wider audience for her numerous leading roles in TV and film productions. Welink received the Noordsterren Award at the International Film Festival in Assen and the Noorderkroon Award at the Noord Nederlands Film Festival for her artistic work.
