Merijn Scholten (* 1983) is a Dutch comedian, writer, and cabaret performer. During his studies in radio and television journalism at the University of Groningen, he won the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival, became a member of the comedy group “Comedytrain,” wrote for a Dutch satirical show, and contributed to the cabaret segment of a radio program. For several years, Scholten was part of the cabaret duo “De Partizanen” before making his debut with a solo stage program in 2022. Since 2025, he has also hosted his TV show “De Week van Merijn,” in which he presents sketches about the events of the week.
