Björn Meyer (* 1989) is a German actor who completed his training at the Theater Academy of the University of Music and Drama in Hamburg. From there, he went on to become a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Frankfurt and next at Hamburg’s Thalia Theater. Meyer has made guest appearances at several German-speaking theaters such as the Hamburg Chamber Opera, the St. Pauli Theater, Kampnagel and the Salzburg Festival and is known to a wider audience for his leading roles in many TV series and films. He has also taken roles in radio play productions. Björn Meyer’s has been awarded the German Academy for Television Prize for his work in that medium.
