Carmen-Maja Antoni (* 1945) is a German actress and radio actress. During her training at the Potsdam-Babelsberg Film Academy, she was engaged at the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam, followed later by engagements at the Volksbühne Berlin and – over a period of 38 years – at the Berliner Ensemble. Antoni became known to a wider audience in the GDR and West Germany through roles in film, television and radio drama productions. She has received numerous awards for her artistic work, including the National Film Prize at the GDR National Feature Film Festival, the GDR Art Prize, the Helene Weigel Medal and the Honorary Prize of the German Critics’ Award.
