Meike Droste

Meike Droste (* 1980) is a German actor. She gained her first acting experience at the Münchner Kammerspiele during her training at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. She then went on to work for the Berliner Ensemble, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Salzburg Festival. Droste became known to a wider audience through numerous leading roles in film and television productions. She has also acted as a narrator in several radio plays. For her artistic work, Meike Droste was awarded first prize in the acting competition of the Carl Orff Foundation, the Golden Mask of the Society of Friends of the Schauspielhaus Zürich and the Faust Theater Prize in the category “Best Acting Performance in Drama”.
