Simone Bloch (* 1959) is the daughter of Curt and Ruth Bloch. She is a playwright, writer and psychotherapist with a practice in New York, where she has lived her entire life. In 1975, as a teenager, she began studying the German language to better understand her father in the wake of his death. Later, inspired by her own daughter’s keen curiosity, she persisted in her attempt to bring her father’s extraordinary work – and story – to a wider audience. She is a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother.
