Victor Schefé (* 1967) is a German actor, singer, filmmaker and author. In 1986, he left the German Democratic Republic for West Berlin. Schefé began his acting career at Berlin off-theatres; later, he was engaged by various German-language theatres, including the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Wien, the Schauspielhaus Graz and the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Victor Schefé is known to a wider audience for roles in more than eighty national and international film and television productions, including Bridge of Spies, directed by Steven Spielberg, and the James Bond film Spectre. In addition, Schefé wrote, directed and produced the film B. i. N. – Berlin im November. He is a member of the German Film Academy and a signatory of the #actout initiative. In 2025, Schefé published his debut novel Zwei, drei blaue Augen, in which he gives literary form to his youth in the GDR.
