Wigald Boning (* 1967) is a German author, musician, composer, comedian, dubbing artist and television announcer who made his debut as an actor in 1989 in a feature film. Boning went on to work on a TV music show, as a reporter for a satirical program and for a media magazine. Boning became known to a wider audience through the comedy series “RTL Samstag Nacht” and went on from there to many television roles both on and off camera on game shows and political programs. He has published ten books and worked as a dubbing artist on international film productions. Boning has received numerous awards for his artistic work, including the German Television Award, the Bavarian Television Award, the Echo Music Award and (twice) the Adolf Grimme Award (once together with Olli Dittrich).
