Wigald Boning (* 1967) is a German author, musician, composer, comedian, dubbing artist and television presenter. He made his debut as an actor in 1989 in a feature film and later worked for a TV music magazine, as a reporter for a satirical program and for a media magazine. Boning became known to a wider audience through the comedy series “RTL Samstag Nacht”. He was subsequently involved in many television formats in front of and behind the camera, including knowledge, history and politics programs. Boning has published ten books and has worked as a dubbing artist on several international film productions. He has received numerous awards for his artistic work, including the German Television Award, the Bavarian Television Award, the Echo Music Award and twice the Adolf Grimme Award (once together with Olli Dittrich).
