Rudolf Klijnkramer (* 1934) had to leave his school due to the anti-Semitic measures in the Netherlands and attend a Jewish school. At the beginning of 1943, his parents prepared a place for him to go into hiding, and in March Rudolf joined a family in The Hague. In total, the boy was hidden at six different addresses. Rudolf experienced the liberation by the Allies in Alkmaar with his parents. He later founded his own textile company. Rudolf Klijnkramer told his story in various lectures, always pointing out that courageous people saved his life and the lives of many Jewish fellow citizens.
