The premiere of the movie “Kolberg” takes place in Berlin and in front of German soldiers in the Allied-enclosed submarine base of La Rochelle. For the premiere, the soldiers‘ newspaper “Wacht im Westen” publishes an article that inspires Curt Bloch to write the Dutch poem Movie Theatre in La Rochelle.
