Arno Hermer (* 1952) is a cabaret performer, author, actor, director, coach, and theater educator. After pursuing German Studies and Theater Sciences, he continued his theater education with Charles Marowitz, Nelia Veksel, and Michel Joly. He went on to work as chief dramaturg at several stages in Bruchsal and Esslingen. Hermer is a recipient of the Cabaret Promotion Award from the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Theater Award from the Stuttgarter Zeitung. He has performed his own adaptations of numerous texts by artists including Georg Kreisler, Franz Kafka, Bertolt Brecht, Ernst Jandl, and Karl Valentin.
