Charly Hübner (* 1972) is a German actor, director, and voice-over artist. While still studying at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, he appeared in productions for the Maxim Gorki Theater and the Berliner Schaubühne, then later for the Schauspielhaus and Theater am Turm (TAT) in Frankfurt am Main. Hübner has performed on the stages of the Schauspielhaus Zürich, the Schauspiel Köln, and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. He is well known to a wider audience for leading roles in numerous film and television productions. In addition, Hübner has contributed to many radio plays and audiobooks. He has received more than thirty awards for his artistic work including the Grimme Prize, the German Comedy Award, the German Television Award, the Gilde Film Award, and the Golden Camera.
