Pit Knorr (* 1939) is a German satirist and author whose career began in the 1960’s as a writer and member of the student cabaret group “Das Bügelbrett,” and went on to become the business manager of Kabaretttheater Berlin. In 1969, Knorr became an editor for the satirical magazine Pardon and co-founded the Neue Frankfurter Schule as well as the satirical magazine Titanic. Alongside Robert Gernhardt and Bernd Eilert, he developed scripts and sketches for comedian Otto Waalkes, as well as for various radio and television comedy series. Pit Knorr is the recipient of numerous awards for his satirical works.
