Stephan Schad (* 1964) is a German actor and speaker. After training at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts, his professional career led him to the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Städtische Bühnen Krefeld/Mönchengladbach, the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Schauspiel Frankfurt am Main, the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Thalia Theater Hamburg and finally to the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. Schad has appeared on various stages in Hamburg, teaches at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama and also works as a dubbing actor. He is known to a wider audience for his radio plays and roles in national and international TV and film productions, e.g. in the literary adaptation “The Diary of Anne Frank” (2016).
