Thomas Gsella (* 1958) is a German satirist and writer, whose career at the Frankfurt-based satire magazine Titanic began 1992 as an editor, and where he served as editor-in-chief from 2005 to 2008. He is well known for his comic poetry, and has published in various radio and newspaper media, such as WDR, SWR, taz, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Süddeutsche Zeitung. He has also authored numerous books on satirical and humorous topics. He is the recipient of several awards and honors for his work, including the Joachim-Ringelnatz-Preis from the city of Cuxhaven and the Robert-Gernhardt-Preis.
