Hindenburg already spoke of the offensives of the Tsarist army in 1916, which drowned in blood and mud. The disregard for human life always cost a lot of blood in old Russia. But unimaginable is the ruthless exhaustion of the masses in the Soviet Union under Stalin. With insane mass deployment, the Soviets attacked the German defense. The ground gained by the Bolsheviks is disproportionate to the enormous losses. From the vast areas of the Soviet Union, people, even women, are herded together and poorly trained, driven to destruction. According to reliable information, on some fronts the losses were 1 to 10, even 1 to 20 to the detriment of the Soviets. These are human losses that no army can sustain in the long term.

Where the fallen, buried under snow and ice have emerged due to the thaw, it has become apparent that the ratio of ten fallen Bolsheviks to one prisoner, here and there, is still considered too low. It is confirmed that a large part of those driven to death by Stalin(g) were 16 to 17 or 60 to 70 years old.
In the areas where the snow has completely disappeared, there are special divisions charged with burying the bodies of the Bolsheviks. Fields covered with bodies stretch for kilometers. Only a few of the fallen have felt or leather shoes on their feet, most lack any useful military equipment. This southern part of the front, which is now evident, will soon become an indictment in the central zone and the North, when the last snow there has melted. – NRC 7-4-1942

Later historians will record the immense losses of the Bolsheviks in these battles for territory that, they would have obtained in any case based on the shifting of the German front. These figures will one day cause dismay. To mention these figures now would only mean that they would be considered unbelievable, as propaganda figures from one of the warring parties, given the dizzying scale of such senseless sacrifices. The recklessness with which the Bolsheviks handle their Siberian and Caucasian divisions is beyond comprehension. German losses during the defensive battles against the onslaught of the Bolshevik machinery are at completely different levels to the Bolshevik losses. The enemy is free to cite different figures. He will experience in a few months to what extent they correspond to reality. This reality will be even more terrible than the winter storms now raging over the battlefields of the Soviet Union. – 12-1-42

The Bolshevik corpses pile up
In the newspaper, mountain high
For years now, and still storming
Are the Bolsheviks,

As if they could not be exhausted
On some German positions,
The Germans shake their heads,
Wondering how this can happen.

They are utterly lost
And it really makes no sense,
The Bolsheviks are fools,
Every prospect is long gone,

No, even worse, they are criminals
And senselessly sacrifice Russian blood
And they become weak and weaker
And when we see it, anger grips us.

They should spare their people,
Instead, they sacrifice them,
Almost twenty million now
And still they make no gain.

Criminal Soviet leaders
Send the Steppe hordes forward
This corps follows with shock and terror
And only their violent methods.

For if people do not follow their comrades,
– Berlin proclaims today –
Then one will be immediately shot,
That is Stalin‘s tactic.

He has been doing this for years now,
But one day the time will come,
Mr. Stalin will learn
And then we will pity him.

Then he will have exhausted
The Soviet forces to the very last,
And without hurting ourselves,
Victory will be granted to us.

Greater Germany has its reserves
Saved cunningly so far,
Because if we throw them into the fire,
The Führer finds it hard.

It almost breaks his heart,
That’s why he does not use them,
And that’s why he does not let them weaken,
This is how we will be the strongest.

Thus, in all the papers
Bolshevism is decimated daily,
Josef Stalin’s situation is miserable,
And soon he will be eradicated.

If the Russian losses were true
That you have been told by the DNB so far
Day in and day out,
Then I would say: Stalin, oh dear.

But if you look more closely,
Then you will realize it’s not true,
They are only Potemkin villages
That Hitler takes as a model.
