André Jung (born 1953) is a Luxembourgish actor. After studying at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts, he was engaged at various German-language theatres, including Theater Basel, Schauspielhaus Zürich and the Münchner Kammerspiele. Jung is known to a wider audience for numerous leading roles in film, television and radio drama productions, including the literary adaptation “The Diary of Anne Frank” (2016). André Jung has received several awards for his artistic achievements, among them being named Actor of the Year twice by the specialist magazine “Theater heute”, the Rita Tanck Glaser Acting Award, the Nestroy Theatre Prize, and the Gertrud Eysoldt Ring.
