Andreas Rebers (* 1958) is a German cabaret artist, author, musician, and composer. His involvement in the independent theater and cabaret scene first began during his accordion studies at the University of Hanover. Rebers served as the musical director of drama at the Staatstheater Braunschweig from 1989 to 1997. He is the author of chansons, songs, and cabaret programs, as well as a composer of stage and theatrical music. Rebers was a member of the cabaret ensemble Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft. His work has been featured on numerous radio and TV productions, and has been performed cabaret shows throughout the German-speaking world and internationally, often at the official invitation of the German Foreign Office and the Goethe Institute. Among numerous awards he has received are the Prix Pantheon, the Salzburger Stier, the German Cabaret Award, the Dieter Hildebrandt Prize, and the Swiss Cabaret Prize. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts.
