Arjen Lubach (* 1979) is a Dutch comedian. He hosted his satirical television show “Zondag met Lubach” until 2021 and hosted “De Avondshow met Arjen Lubach” from 2022 to 2024, which aired four times a week. Since 2025, he has been presenting the program “Lubach”, also four times per week. Lubach has also enjoyed success with various music productions since 2001. Together with Jan Böhmermann, he recorded the song “Verder naar Rechts/Weiter nach Rechts” (Further To The Right) in 2024; in it, the satirists asked whether the Netherlands or Germany had shifted further to the right politically. Arjen Lubach is also active as a screenwriter and author; his debut novel was published in 2006. Arjen Lubach has received several awards for his artistic work, including the Lof de Zotheidspeld from the Erasmus House Foundation in Rotterdam, as well as the Zilveren Nipkowschijf and Gouden Televizier-Ring television awards. In 2022, he was voted “Media Personality of the Year” in the Netherlands.
