Iris Atzwanger (*1961) works as an actress and voiceover artist. She attended the acting school at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck (Austria), followed by several long-term engagements, including at the Städtische Bühnen Regensburg, Landestheater Salzburg, Stadttheater St. Gallen, Theater Dortmund, and Staatstheater Wiesbaden. In 1995, Atzwanger received the “Bajazzo,” an award funded by the patrons of Theater Dortmund, Curt Bloch’s home town. Since 2006, roles have taken Atzwanger to the Staatstheater Mainz, Fritz Remond Theater Frankfurt, Stadttheater Bielefeld, Komödie Frankfurt, and the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel. In addition to numerous acting engagements, Iris Atzwanger also works as a voiceover artist. Since 2023, she has been a permanent ensemble member at the Staatstheater Mainz.
