Jenny Rosa Schily (* 1967) is a German actress and radio actress. After training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, her first engagement was at Schauspiel Dresden, after which she joined Schauspiel Frankfurt and Theater am Turm. This was followed by ensemble memberships at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. Schily is known to a wider audience for her leading roles in numerous film and television productions. She has received several awards for her artistic work, including the Grimme Prize and the title “Best Performance in a Short Film” from the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival.
