Marion Brasch (*1961) is a German writer and radio journalist, who comes from a Jewish family with Austrian-German roots. Her mother worked as a journalist, and – after returning from exile – her father held high positions developing cultural policy in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). After training as a typesetter, Marion Brasch initially worked in a printing house, later for various publishing houses and the Association of Composers and Musicologists of the GDR. She became known to a wider audience as a host on various radio stations, most recently at Radio Eins (RBB). In addition, Brasch has published several novels, short stories, and plays.
