Rainer Bock (* 1954) is a German actor. After training at a private drama school, he went on to have permanent engagements at the Staatstheater Stuttgart and the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel in Munich, among others. Bock has also made guest appearances at the Salzburg Festival. He is known to a wider audience for his roles in numerous national and international film and television productions, including “The White Ribbon”, “Inglourious Bastards” and the Netflix series “Better Call Saul”. Rainer Bock is also part of the ensemble for the cinematic reappraisal of the Auschwitz trials in “Die Ermittlung” (The Investigation, 2024). Rainer Bock has received the German Acting Award, the Günter Rohrbach Film Award and the Bavarian Television Award for his artistic work.
