Katharina Bach (*1985) is a theater and film actress. After studying at the drama school in Bochum (Folkwang University of the Arts), she joined the ensemble of Schauspiel Frankfurt and in 2013 was nominated best young actress of the year by the German magazine “Theater.” In 2020, Bach became a member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble. She has appeared in various film and radio play productions, and together with director Katrin Lindner, she developed the solo play “Fremd” (Strange) for the 2024/25 theater program, which – based on the biography of publicist Michel Friedman – addresses antisemitism, racism, and exclusion in post-war Germany.
